Lynchburg Elite Dance offers classes in Quarters. A quarter is defined by 12 dance classes. Fall Quarter: September – November, Winter Quarter: January – March, Spring Quarter: April-Recital (Mid June). The quarter system was designed to be more in line with today’s busy schedules and allow for a minimal commitment to try out a specific class etc.
LED’s 2018-19 quarters are: Fall: September 4-December 7, 2018, Winter: January 2-March 29, 2019, Spring: April 1-June 25, 2019
What if classes are canceled?
If classes are canceled due to weather or holidays, there will be a makeup class at the same time on a FRIDAY during the quarter.
Do I have to pay for the entire quarter of dance?
Yes, once you register you are obligated to the entire tuition for the quarter.
We have found that 12 weeks gives everyone the needed amount of time to truly assess. The student can feel success, the teacher can more accurately assess the abilities of the dancer and help work with the best fit for the dancer.
When can I change classes?
class changes should be given to the administrative team the month prior to the start of the quarter and end on the 15th of the start month.
What is the registration fee for?
How do I register?
Lynchburg Elite Dance charges an annual registration fee of $25 per dancer or $40 for family. This fee helps off set the administrative costs.
You can register on line, by phone or in person at the studio located at 3622 old forest road. Registration is completed when the registration and 1st installment (1st month) is paid.
My Dancer just LOVES to dance, how can we get more?
LED performance company is a perfect way for your dancer to experience more. Dancers age 6-12 (no experience necessary) are eligible for mini company. Dancers aged 12 and up (with Lynchburg Elite Dance experience) are eligible for performance company. These dancers learn additional choreography and perform around town in the fall quarter and attend at least 3 dance competitions during the winter quarter. Company dancers can be seen around town at least once in the spring quarter sharing their love of dance and their talents. Company dancers take at least two classes a week in addition to a weekly rehearsal class.
